Chnages I Will Make to My Kitchen Layout Design

My kitchen is definitely not my ideal kitchen design. It's an eat in kitchen, which limits space a lot. There's a lot of kitchen countertop space, but much of that is filled with small kitchen appliances (coffee pot, blender, toaster, griddle, microwave, etc).
The one thing I do like about my kitchen is the kitchen cabinet storage space. I have plenty of cupboard space, however, some of that space is hard to get too. One of my kitchen cabinets is about 4 feet long, but with a door on only one side. To use all of that space you have to practically crawl inside.
When we do a kitchen remodel, my kitchen layout design will make more sense and the kitchen cabinets will be easier to access. I will have dark hickory hardwood floors and dark red quartz countertops to match the rest of the decor in the house.
A kitchen island bar is a must for the extra kitchen cabinet storage and counter space. I will also have a built in double oven, a convection microwave and cooktop with a griddle.
I love kitchen organization, so everything will have it's own space. I plan to have a garbage can that can be pulled out from under the sink when needed, pot racks that hang from the ceiling over my kitchen island, and lots of kitchen cabinet drawers for all of my miscellaneous items.
The kitchen wall cabinets up near the ceiling that I can't reach will be replaced with shelves for decorative purposes. I will also, most definitely, have a kitchen pantry that I can fill so that I don't need to run to the store every week to replace what I've used. In my vision, my kitchen will be beautiful and sophisticated while also being sensible.
