I would like to take a moment and give you background of my experience. (that is, if you can bear with me while I explain how I've learned)

I grew up in a family-owned home building business and have been involved in many aspect of it over my lifetime. As a kid, I remember taking particular interest in the kitchens of the homes and the process of building a kitchen always intrigued me.

Curious Kid

While on construction sites, I watched as the carpenters opened boxes and pulled out beautiful kitchen cabinets.

They would occasionally study some papers and talk to each other about where certain cabinets went. Aha! Someone does have a plan here! (I was only a curious kid at the time)

They were looking at line drawings with kitchen cabinet dimensions. This is a kitchen layout design one of the men told me as he pointed at the drawings. I finally figured it out. The arrangement of cabinets is kind of like a big puzzle that is put together following cabinet plans that were done by a kitchen designer.

Long story short, I have seen many new kitchens come together. As it turns out, my favorite part of the business is home and kitchen design. My enthusiasm grew into designing kitchens and entire homes and then completed the construction drawings for them.

Customer Satisfaction

As you know, the kitchen is the most desirable room in the home and hub of activity that family and friends enjoy together. I love to be part of the process of designing and building a space that our customers spend quality time in everyday. Several of the photos that you see on our site are of kitchens that were built for satisfied customers.

Practical Knowledge

I have worked hand in hand with architects, interior designers, lighting designers and everyone else involved in the trades of kitchen and home building.

Over the years I have designed many kitchens and have worked with experienced kitchen designers. This involved the review, tweaking and approval of kitchen design plans for all the new homes that our company built.

I have had the opportunity of working with designers at numerous full-scale showrooms in the selection of all of the cabinets that were installed in display or inventory homes.

My job provided me with the pleasure of selecting or working with a designer to select appliances, light fixtures, countertops, flooring, and plumbing fixtures for our kitchens. I have worked with interior designers not only for the best kitchen selections, but for the best design selections for many luxury homes.

We put together some of the best, award winning homes over the years. This was only possible through the joint efforts of all of the experienced people involved in the building process.
