Use Care With a Stainless Steel Backsplash
Most makers put a protective outer coating over the tiles to keep them from being scratched while in transit. This is a thin layer of clear plastic that adheres to the face of the tile.
This should be left intact until installation is finished and the grout has had time to set up.
The backsplash can be cleaned with a solution of mild soap and water and wiped down with a soft cloth to avoid spots. There's also many off the shelf cleaners that are made to clean stainless steel.
Be careful when handling foods that contain citric acid or products that have harsh chemicals like bleach in them because these can cause stains. Although a stainless steel backsplash is quite expensive, it’s a good conversation piece and one that will garner looks from any visitor to your home.
